I always hated this pic, the art just seems so off.
I actually disliked most of the pics with the protagonist (can't even remember his name). It's
not a self-insertion thing either, played plenty of VNs with protags where I didn't feel this
discomfort. Might be i just didn't like his visual design? Idk. Kenji was genious though.

Biggest disappointment for me was Rin's route
could have been good but the "i have to destroy myself to make art" idea was retarded and just

Yeah, that fucking rape scene that everyone in KSG just conveniently ignores is the most fucking
offputting shit I've ever seen. Like, it's just so fucking weird, I don't know how 4LS didn't
feel awkward as hell making that. I felt so disjointed with the game after that scene, I was at
first doubting whether that was what they were trying to do with that scene or if it was just me,
but then even the main character asks himself if that's what he wanted.
Yeah I know I just spoiled shizune's route, but it really is the worst one. No matter how much of
a white-knight you think the protag was in Hanako's route, a white-knight is still better than NO
CHARACTER AT ALL.

Sorry, but plain certainly is bad when you've got nothing else to offer. As that other poster
said, the most interesting thing in that route was the Misha situation, and even that was handled
pretty badly.
The entire thing has this feel of being a home-made amateur work, and that's not meant in a bad
way. But sometimes it really does show, clearest examples being - in my opinion - Hanako's really
run-of-the-mill 'I want to protect that smile' story and Shizunes nothing at fucking all except
for rape.
Disagree with you on Rins route, but I don't really feel like having that discussion.
