Not only his fault? His active attempts at sabotaging /a/ and /jp/ by stopping self-moderation and
encouraging the other boards to raid and flood them? Banning talking about certain videogames and
relevant topics on /v/, banning self-moderation on /v/ while not hiring enough mods to police the
offtopic shit and marketing spam.
He bans discussion of current events because he doesn't like them on fucking /pol/. He's reversed
entirely from his old positions on free speech and user communities and actively attempted to
destroy board cultures and stop people from talking about things on a discussion site. The site
SHOULD go offline. It should die, rather than becoming a shitty, disgusting bizarro world mockery
of what it once was.

Well, he will be gone soon and from what I understand the administrative power will go to several
people instead of just one man. This should mean that there will much less censorship in the future
since the will of one person can't change things without the rest being able to invoke their veto
power.
If someone says "let's delete all threads that trash talk feminists", the rest can say "that goes
against what many user's of the site wants". In theory this means that the site will live on for
the people that use it and be exactly what the visitors want it to be. 4chan can also live on
forever since it will no longer go offline if one person dies.
Naturally it remains to be seen if things turn out that good though, but I believe this is what
moot had in mind from this and if so it deserves some credit. Not everybody would create a site,
run it for years, feel that he no longer belongs on it and then hand it over to other people
instead of trying to make the site fit his own interest once again.

My view is that if you claim that the userbase is not to to blame at all and it was all on moot and
his "hand picked infiltrator mods" then I think you either have a bad case of nostalgia or you
arrived late to the party and never saw the real site pre-faggot infestation.
