So you click when the bottom star on the left turns red... then you fly into space and lose the
game because lack of direction due to moon runes

Okay, so you have to catch the sword as she's just about to hit you, time it with the red star on
the right.
After that you're rocketing back up towards the top of the pillar, on the way up, let go of the
LMB if you haven't already and wiggle the mouse left and right WITHIN the game space. Not up and
down, not in a circle, LEFT and RIGHT. You max it out as you get to the top and you disarm her,
winning at touhouing.
