ive seen the anime, he is indeed supposed to be a skeleton. he ate a fruit that made him come back
to his body after death. i think he and his crew got lost on the open seas and starved to death or
something like that, i remember the straw hat's meeting him on a spooky ship in the middle of

Yeah, I just mean that since there's so much other stuff that doesn't make sense why bother trying
to explain something like "why can a skeleton eat stuff". I just imagined some pesky fan trying to
be smart and asking Oda a question about something that he must have overlooked or didn't care
