I suggest watching the original Hellsing animated series before watching the OVA.
I know, I know, "the OVA was true to the manga", and all that. Plus the first series was really
let down by its ending. But some of the OVA felt sorta like it was a little fast-paced so as to
not waste too much time re-covering stuff that was in the first animation.
Plus I loved the British accents in the English dub.
