All around you the wondrous art of time keeping can be observed. It is an invaluable tool that we
use to structure our daily lives. We have times we start or finish work. We have a time for
breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We have important dates, like anniversaries or memorial services.
You have a watch, a clock on your phone, and even your PC keeps time. And yet paradoxically, at
the same time, all around you the art of time keeping is ignored. Birds are never late for
appointments. Deer do not fret over missed birthdays. Wolves need no set time to feast.
Man alone observes time pass. And man alone chimes the bell. And it is in this simple fact that
mankind experiences a fear that no other species knows...
The fear of time... Running out.
