Rideback is an interesting show. Sometimes I feel like they make anime by picking tropes from a
hat. This one would be "ballet, motorcycles, mecha, revolution". The girl is an unlikely hero who
gets caught up in a larger struggle for independence in an occupied Japan. Her character
development is forced since the story escalates so quickly, but I have to like it for trying such
a unique blend of ideas.
