What do I need to do to a .flv video file to make it uploadable here to flash. I'm trying to use

try using freemake
Although if your source is bad, I cannot assure that I can be converted to any file type at all.
Bad in terms of a compressed file, corrupted, etc.

You can only upload .swf, so you'll need to use adobe flash to embed the .flv into a .swf
I know there are free alternatives to adobe flash but idk if they support video
