I would make for an awful teacher, I'm not at all even passable when it comes to Japanese, if I
was forced to I could possibly survive in day to day life (i.e I can count, I can barely sorta
order food and I could probably get money from doing freelance work).
Really, if you wish to learn Japanese I'm probably the least qualified person on the internet.
I suggest either tae kim's guide (I've skimmed it once, doing a full read of it right now) ,it
can be found at guidetojapanese.com
or you could go with a text book, genki is decent but oh so boring (too slowly paced for me),
it's easy enough to find a torrent of it, any reasonably stocked bookstore (amazon) should have
it at a reasonable price if you're inclined towards purchasing things instead.
