holy catz, how long does it take to serve up fucking dry ass cat food?
It's cute and funny and all, but then I'm hearing this banging going on and thinking,
come ON dude, how long does it take to open a can and make it go sluuuurrrrk into the bowl?

I had the extreme impulse to stomp each of those fuckers to death.
I never would, but it is a part of me that is there.

From personal experience I can attest that dragging the process out as long as possible is
immensely satisfying.
My ex had a cat that she got from her father. Unbeknownst to us, the cat was preggers and ejected
a kitten about a month after she got it. I was there from the very start, and while I have to
admit that it was (and still is) cute as a fucking button, that little guy really knew how to
press your buttons.
Whenever there was food about in general, from me making a sammich to her serving the cat his
food to us eating dinner, he'd be there, mewling. I'm convinced that he had some kind of eating
disorder because he never stopped. You could put upend an entire can of food into his bowl and
he'd wolf that shit down and demand seconds. If you as much as opened the door to the pantry he'd
jump in there, because he knew.
He knew where the food were. Even though he couldn't get at it himself.

for the first 3-4 months of owning our cats we had to pick them up and place them on the ground
like 10 times a meal because they'd be up in our plates trying to eat off of them. the funny part
is that my mom's a sucker and would give them tidbits of meat and the rest of us would just throw
them on the ground, so after like a month they started specifically targeting her and she'd end
up just holding her plate up at chin level and eat 1 handed rather than keeping her plate on her
lap. (we eat on the couch while watching the nightly news. tables are for fancy meals or company)

That's depressing.

Why. Not that anon but peoples can talk while watching telly, and discussing the news as they
happen is literally the best.

How is having meals with your family depressing. Tables are effort.

I'm old school so I much prefer the shared company of family and friends at the dinner table,
away from any distractions. That way, our lives are the topic of conversation instead of nightly
news topics.
That being said, sometimes we indulge a bit and get away from things by sitting at the table and
watching the news from our dining room. It's an apartment, so we can easily see the bigass LED in
our living room.

Yeah, I do not have OCD, but that mewing was annoying and it also made me want to silence them up
drastically.
