I'm not too heavy into gaming, but you might be interested into the scene behind glitch art. Most
of it isn't as heavyhanded as these two examples but the culture is deeply rooted almost
everywhere you look. Cyberpunk and hacker culture are both directly influenced by it, Hollywood
is constantly incorporating it into their films, and post-modernism is giving it more of a rise
than it's ever seen before.
