Should discordant be considered too strong in judgement, to the very least this I argue that the net result of the amalgamation would be reductive in that visual subject matter is largely made to suit auditory material. This is of particular concern to me as I have developed and continue to maintain a biased personal investment into certain elements contained within subject matter featured in this creation. Finally I reiterate that should you under your own judgement enjoy this, then you are free to do so, but I shall not recede my opinion so long as you should do so in public space. >> [_] DaCapo 2155274 >># Hmm, you put alot of thought into this. Though, many of the words do not match well with the sentence structure. Anyways, grammar aside, I fal to see how this song is 'discordant' with the video. >> [_] Anon 2155277 >># He is. And rightfully so. >> [_] Anon 2155278 >># >twentieth century pop shit >victorian era based elegance and wonder. >> [_] Anon 2155284 >># The music in question is exemplary of modern culture, of youth in the age of young adults, of reckless rebellion, lack of thought and finally being created with the intention of appealing to a large social demographic. While the contents of the lyrics is marginally more relevant it still fails to be truly relevant. The imagery is in particular relating to loss of innocence, perhaps relevant in Victorique's increased understanding of the nature of her birth, however Victorique is designated as an exceptionally intelligent and skeptical individual and is not only seen as partially aware prior to events revealed to her but also resilient to information of a shocking nature due to this. Second, the imagery of the lyrics details a loss of innocence through a weakness of character, that of which the vocalist is willing to overlook due to his devotion to whoever is referred to in second person throughout the piece. cont. >> [_] Anon 2155285 Victorique's loss is related to events beyond her control and she is consistently shown to be stout of character to the point of attempting escape near the finale both through physical means and through intellectual cunning. alternatively, see: >># >> [_] Anon 2155296 I never watched Gosick, but >Panic!at the disco No thank you >> [_] Anon 2155415 >># This AMV is cancer in it's purist form |
