As someone who played Ingress for a year and a half, YEAH ITS PRETTY FUCKING MUCH THIS.
I actually stopped playing, since most of the people I played with started getting into whiny
drama and bullshit. I ended up flipping from Resistance to Enlightened. And >>2864481

Yeah, but solo play is shit because you can't get good gear. Where I'm at, we had our players who
would sporadically come out and hit portals, so you still had a community.
I went into hiding after my fucking guardian got hit at 125 days.
