Actually not half bad for an educational game, OP

This is neat.
I like this.

pretty nice, but i hate when games like these are structured to be a long-winded tutorial that
ends where the actual game should begin.

The problem is, this "educational game" teaches the biological processes in the context of
intelligent design and "front-loading" (granted, without religious connotations). Seriously, i'm
not splitting hairs here; the two "Science Advisors" are both vocal I.D. creationist. The game is
a deliberate attempt to provide cellular biology content without touching evolution.

I think you may be reading too much into it. Creationism didn't even cross my mind until you
mentioned it, and now I can't un-see it. Way to go, jerk.

To be fair, it isn't so much creationism as it is playing god.
Also genetically modifying organisms.

I am a middle school teacher in a southern school district. this game was "strongly recommended"
to me by my conservative department-head precisely because we could use it to hit our cell
science standards without having to touch evolution. Then I looked up the science advisers in the
credits. This was put out around the same time Ray Comfort was publishing creationist edited
versions of Origin of Species and trying to get the distributed in schools. Its a real tactic.
