>highly shock sensitive and very highly friction sensitive
>but has to be ground into a fine powder
Seems unsuitable for hurting people to me. Also unsuitable for keeping ones fingers if you don't
know good lab technique...

Hi i got a question.
You know when you've filtered the mixture and spread it out in clumps to cool/ air dry.
How do you go about turning it into a powder?
I'm wondering if you use say the back of a spoon to crush the powder, would that produce friction
and cause the whole thing to go off? you wouldnt bang the clumps with a hammer would you?

Put some nails or metal parts in the recipient, you'll see how suitable it is ...

HTMD should ONLY be used as a primary explosive. If you're stupid enough to try and use it as a
secondary explosive, you deserve to lose all your fingers.
If you don't know the difference between a secondary and primary explosive, don't even fucking
think about making this.

Also let me point out that I don't see the point in making HTMD.
Hexamine is one of the primary ingredients, and this is also the primary ingredient in a much
safer explosive, RDX. All that you need to do is replace the Citric Acid with Nitric Acid.

you crush small amounts of it far away from the main pile and then pour it into something

Anyone whose taken a worthwhile P.chem and thermodynamics course should know these things.

Don't do this by the way.
Hexamine reacts poorly to most metals.

Surely it's illegal to show these kinds of things...

Nah, it's the same reason why the Anarchist's Cookbook is also a legal book. It just makes ya
look questionable in the long run

So how do I produce the hexamine or H202?

Hydrogen peroxide is available anywhere in great big bottles as a topical disinfectant. Household
grade is 3%, so boil out some of the water at a temperature above 100C but below 150C.
As for hexamine,

...unless you really want to play around with ammonia and formaldehyde.

You could also concentrate the hydrogen peroxide by freezing it and discarding the frozen ice,
but it's always much more fun to add heat to things.

I am way out of my league here. I took intro to chem last semester and it kicked my ass. Stuff
like this makes me wish I had a better grasp of the science. I feel like such a failure.

Even after getting it in a powder state ?
