I have absolutely no clue. Just what could make a car start spinning that fast?

maybe if it hit a nitro tank?
because its spinning accelerates, as though something is causing a constant force, instead of
something instant like another car hitting it

Camera angle is a little deceiving because what is hard to see is that it is speeding fast
directly at the camera (sideways) at the start. It's swerving and drifting into the shoulder.
That's alright...until it hits the thick sand by the side of the road, which is much better at
stopping tires than asphalt.
All the speed that we can't see because of camera angle shifts from linear momentum to angular
momentum very abruptly upon transitioning from road to sand. Sand is very good at stopping
things. Sandbags stop bullets; that sandy shoulder will stop your tires. Only problem is when the
tires stop and the rest of the car hasn't finished moving.
