4th flash I've ever done
this one was way more a bitch and work than the others
fuck flash for initially having publishing settings set to local access network only for links
also I messed up on other things, but hope you guys like this one more than my first 3
first time editing gifs, first time editing an audio file to loop, first time coding in flash~

It's well done, but kinda meaningless. What's the music? Very familiar sounding.

I am new to flash but I make sure to include sauce
resize the window~
>It's well done, but kinda meaningless. What's the music? Very familiar sounding.
well so far all of my flashes have been meaningless loops mostly
this one at least I practiced with multiple images with some gif and some non-animated, as well
as more layers and actionscript for clicking
also did my own audio editing in audacity, so this flash was more of a testbed of the skills I've
learned over the last day

Well shit, I resized to check but it was farther down than I expected. Fuckin' Royksopp, hearing
that version tripped me out.
Keep doing what you're doing though, /f/ desperately needs more OC.

>farther down than I expected
hmm the /f/ guide I read said to put it like like (size of flash*1.5) down, should I be putting
it up a little higher?
>Keep doing what you're doing though, /f/ desperately needs more OC
ha we'll see how good I can become, probably not as good as any animators, but I'll see what I
can do with gifs/music/scripts as I learn

Still cool, song brings me good times.

The song is some weird version of
Röyksopp - Happy Up Here

LOL welcome to teh madness that only Adobe could generate. Yes, Flash is a horribly steep
learning curve - the animation concepts are simple, yet somehow they manage to make a convoluted,
mystic secret mess of the interface and defaults. Oh well, get used to it, and embrace the stupid
quirks of the technology.
And yeah, we typically don't post our "look, i just discovered flashes!" practice loops here, but
as was stated, theres like 2 people making OC here anymore, so whatevs.
Keep at it, it gets more interesting, and so does your output.
on the flash: plain (of course, for first stuff) BUT inventive - I don't get why your links'
hitboxes aren't changing the cursor to Hand instead of Arrow, but they should. (I didn't realize
they were anchors and not just random gif madness).

>the /f/ guide I read said to put it...
LOL fuck that, it's well-intentioned, but not entirely sound. Theres a better way, but of course
you must "fit" your work into a 4:3 aspect bounding box, and discover how much border you have
below the canvas. If your work is 16:9 like most modern screens, you will have a a border area
below - this area must be kept clear if you don't want concealed sauce to be visible when viewed
in 4:3. Simply place sauce slightly below the boundary, and voila! If your work is 4:3 to begin
with, no worries, just put it a little below teh canvas.
Also, make the text larger - the taller a flash is, the more you have to crunch it to bring the
sauce line into view... so, at 4:3 ration, start with 20pt font weight. the taller the flash is,
the more you will increase this so the apparent size is roughly the same weather you have a
landscape or portrait to resize.
Damn, I see it's time to start offering tuts somewhere.
Anyway, you have the right stuff, and actually did stuff most people are to lazy to do.
