afterwards

I have a question. Where/when was this recording acquired?

There's 2 possible outcomes to this:
>the blast kills you
>you somewhat survived but got killed and looted by other people
>you somewhat survived and died of radiation poisoning (or cancer if you live long enough)
>>2839388
like this anon said, even with bunker, chances of humanity survives is pretty slim. water will
get irradiated (with everything else). you'd have to have a good bunker too (2 stories deep)

if the range is 400 doesn't that mean anything just within reach is safe?

the real question is, will we even know when it happens? we are on the fucking computer all day,
does the government have a way to override the internet to inform everyone in time? Most of us
might see a happening thread on /pol/ and just not believe it.

During the cold war it was estimated that up to 90% of the russian population would survive a
nuclear strike

Funny how you say "it's not like in the movies" and then assume that everything just goes to
total shit.
The very biggest nuke's destruction radius isn't even 30 miles. You'd have to be very unlucky to
die if only 4 of those were launched, and most are smaller than that.

Yes, notice the 13 root name servers to respond with another IP than requested. You want to load
a Youtube? Well, though shit because the IP we sent you doesn't correspond to Youtube's IP.

This, nuclear war wouldn't end humanity, a particularly big nuclear war like with Russia might
kill most people in America, and cause some fallout issues for southern Canada and northern
Mexico, but most people would still be fine
