They are employees at a weeb shop Konata goes to every so often. They try desperately to get her
to buy things from her store because everytime she shops somewhere the store gets a spike in
business, but Konata always ends up leaving without buying anything. They are parodies of SUPER
SERIOUS ACTION ANIME which is why they look like that and why they scream like that.

Anime Tenchou is also the mascot of "Animate", created by Kazuhiko Shimamoto, the same guy that
did "Blazing transfer student" and did the character designs for G gundam
Anime tenchou also appears in a variety of other media. Last I saw him he was in "Touch my
katamari" in the maid dlc.
