Something to do about people just taking a random youtube video, passing it through a 4dummies
fla converter and uploading it here. It's fine in small quantities, but when half the flashes on
/f/ at any given time have no vector animation, interactivity or looping (or even a japanese
theme to them) you clearly have a problem.

The rule already says "should"
1. All uploaded files should be uniquely Japanese (pertain to Japanese culture). "Run of the
mill" content is to be had elsewhere.
"Should" is pretty much used as "must" on the rules page. For instance, /a/'s first rule is
1. All images and resulting discussion should pertain to anime or manga.

This is how /f/ has been for years.
I would like it to go back to the way it used to be, where people actually made animations on
/f/, but there is little to no interest from the younger generations to learn Flash because it is
already a dying media format.
Making a thread to bitch about this is pointless. It bares little to no consequence to /f/ as a
whole. This board will very unlikely have moderation, and if it ever does (which, I repeat, I
highly doubt it), we'll have a group of janitors/moderators who will delete threads on a biased
whim. Because /f/ is the board that nobody knows nor cares about.
Now, if you want to promote a different kind of culture, why not start a movement to MAKE new
content? People don't post actual new flashes because there aren't that many that are considered
new, or at least none that are of major interest. But if you find a dynamic that encourages
people from this board to learn how to do some neat stuff in it, then we're bound to eventually
get something worthwhile.
In the meantime, we're still gonna keep getting bad YouTube rips.

Ban any upload that is not ACTUAL FLASH CONTENT. if it's a converted fucking youtube or whatever,
get it out. /f/ doesn't need to be 100% japanese content only but more japanese content would be
nice.
/f/ currently puts out more OC than every other 4chan board combined because of how the
moderators run the site. Banning tripcode users for using tripcodes stifles original content
generation massively (I used to draw tons of comics and other things for /v/, stopped because of
weekly bans and eventually them banning my entire tripcode, just so i could protect the OC i was
creating)
