>> [_] Anon 2842366 There's always the possibility that the game could be broken from the start (all four of a single tile stacked on top of each other, for the most obvious example) but I think it's pretty unlikely. If all four tiles of a single type are accessible, removing all four will never break the game (if it wasn't already broken) but removing only two could possibly break the game. Removing two when you don't know you can remove the other two is always slightly risky. (But you almost always have to take many risks) The worst possible situation after removing a pair is that one of the other two is covered by many tiles and difficult to access, while the other is accessible and covering many tiles. This is why it's always better to wait until you can see all four tiles before removing any (if possible) and work from the "outside" (tiles blocking many others) "in" (tiles that aren't blocking many others). I think the first objective is to identify groups with all four tiles visible, then plan to uncover them while uncovering as many non-visible tiles, and taking out tiles that block many other tiles, while doing that.
