I went back and watched a few Disney movies.

They have such fucked up overtones. How did my parents let me watch that shit?

>> [_] Anonymous 10/25/09(Sun)23:45 No.1100370

  NOSTALGIA BOMB HOLY SHIT.

Looking back on this movie, I don't think I actually understood that this guy was in love with
Esmeralda when I first watched this. Shit, I must have been kind of slow or something when I was
  a kid.

>> [_] Anonymous 10/25/09(Sun)23:52 No.1100377

This single thing reminded me how fucking dark Disney can be sometimes. I mean seriously, read
into what the guy's saying: Be mine or BURN IN HELL.

  KIDS' MOVIE!

Weird, someone on /tg/ linked a youtube link with this video to me.

I think this along with Anastasia have some of the darkest themes behind them. Disney is more
  fucking dark then I realized.

>> [_] Anonymous 10/26/09(Mon)00:25 No.1100406

Disney used to bore the shit out of me as a kid.

I am discovering, now, that I was kind of a stupid little brat.

Sexually confused cardinal promises either rape or torture and damnation to object of affection,
has nervous breakdown. Eventually falls into lake of molten metal.

  Fuck yes.

NOTE TO SELF, WATCH HUNCHBACK, CATCH UP ON MISSING CHILDHOOD AWESOME

  Dreamworks, not Disney

  >how fucking dark Disney can be sometimes.
Walt Disney was a racist. He wanted to use the japanese in the american concentration camps to
make an anti japanese war propaganda film. The original lyrics for "Zippidy do dah" was "Zippidy
do dah, Zippidy eh, negros are inferior in every way"

The Lion King was a direct rip off of Kimba the White lion made by Studio Gibli.

Every film made by Disney (with the exception of anything made by Pixar) was eminent domain. Aka,
they didn't have to pay a competent writer for story continuity.

Sorry for ruining your nostalgia bomb mixed with the macabre, but Disney is a fraud... and
everyone who works for that company should be out of a job.

Just think about how Disney villains die. Gaston was fucking impaled, Scar was eaten alive, you
actually see the outline of Clayton's limp, lifeless body.

The Zippidy do dah part is wrong. Just an urban legend. A stupid one at that even, but oh well.
Not that that film wasn't messed up, but that isn't a part of the reason why. Sounds like you are
just looking for reasons to hate a big, evil coorporation.

Or the story of the magic lamp. The one from Arabian nights. It's subtle, but there are overtones

The Thief and the Cobbler is fucking overrated. Watched it, and yeah it was an animation marvel
but a shit storyline and shit scenes.
