The melodies are totally off, not to the mention the drums, not to mention that Kyle Ward is a
pretty credible (even though not a very popular) musician. The fact that that song alone has been
used in commercial work and he hasn't called it a remix is enough to make me believe that it is a
case of slight stylistic similarity, not remix.
I could argue that Smack My Bitch Up sounds like any other Big Beat song, but the truth is just
that the genre's conventions make most songs sound pretty similar in structure.
