Ren and Stimpy was off the fuckin wall. Nowadays, you can have a cartoon about some girl running
around babbling in Spanish, and you can have a TV show about the sexploits of housewives, but you
can't have stupidly, senselessy awesome cartoons like this anymore.

I was just watching classic Ren and Stimpy last night on MTV2 because it was the only channel
coming through the cable box for some reason. I enjoyed this discovery.

Yeah. They also censored all the racism and the innuendo. There used to be a lot more creative
freedom in cartoons. Lame that its all blanked out.

i agree especially in this age its pointless to make western cartoons so lame and then wonder why
all the franchises besides the older audience ones like family guy etc are getting slaugtered

While I do enjoy some of Japan's output I do despair at the loss of Western cartoons and art in
its place. The little 'uns seem to draw little else now, judging from what I see online.
