All tracks have been normalized to 92dB, so you wouldn't have to change the volume and shit. You
may also notice a drop in quality. This is because the songs were encoded down to V8 from V7 in
order to compensate the increase in file size due to the increase in frequency from 32Hz to
44.1Hz. All the previous stuttering/skipping in certain tracks was because they were sampled in
32Hz, a frequency that flash has trouble with somehow. Hopefully, people will accept the changes.

If not, I can re-encode all the tracks to AAC format(which is basically next-gen MP3). It will be
higher quality and takes up less space. The only problem is that I'd have to code the swf file to
accept AAC format, which would lead to a different version of the swf file. To put it another
way, the old swf files will no longer work. That means the VIP files uploaded in public flash
servers such as pown.it or dagobah.biz would cease to work.(I never uploaded to those places in
the first place.)
...I guess it would be better, since I can't stand listening to it in the quality it's in right
now. Post your thoughts.

Awesome, so you did get to see my post in the other thread. About aac, there are a lot of
different encoders I've seen, so you might want to poke around a little before you convert them
all. Some do fantastic at 64kbps, some do terrible. From my tests Nero's encoder handles the low
bitrates really well, but FAAC (I think that's the name) does a much better job for anything over
that bitrate.
I hope everything works out alright if you do decide to go with aac.
Another idea, you could zip up the original tracks and upload them to Mediafire for people who
want to download all of them. That might save you some bandwidth.

I'm currently using Nero's AAC codec for foobar2000. This AAC thing is awesome. I can't believe I
haven't realized it earlier. I'm doing tests right now, and let me tell you, I can barely tell
the difference between a 128kbps MP3 and a 60kbps MP4. That's half the file size right there!

It is impressive. I'm doing some more tests right now too. One thing I didn't think of before
though, do they need to be CBR for streaming? Or can it be VBR?
