Haha, i fucking wish. Best way to kill 6.7 billion cancer cells at the same time.

>> [_] Anonymous 10/28/09(Wed)16:59 No.1102556

Right. Please, if you ever get cancer, post here about it. We'll kill your cancer by burning you
  to ashes.

  Operation successive: patient deceased

Troll'd. 6.7 billion is the population of Earth.

This might be awesome if it weren't so poorly shooped.

i keep reading it as large hardon collider.

what's the worst that could happen really?

>> [_] Anonymous 10/28/09(Wed)18:42 No.1102642

  Someone post large hardon collider.swf?

The worst that could happen is that the LHC could produce a stable strangelet which would convert
the mass of the Earth into a quark star.

The joke is that the only people who actually are trash are the misanthropes!

No, there are plenty of kinds of trash. That being said, no sense deep-sixing the planet for the
sins of a billion or so douchebags.

The upcoming experiments at the Large Hadron Collider have sparked fears among the public that
the LHC particle collisions might produce doomsday phenomena, involving the production of stable
microscopic black holes or the creation of hypothetical particles called strangelets.[44] Two
CERN-commissioned safety reviews have examined these concerns and concluded that the experiments
at the LHC present no danger and that there is no reason for concern,[45][46][47] a conclusion
expressly endorsed by the American Physical Society.[48]

If a stable piece of strange matter is created, it would be hurtled into deep space at near-light
  speeds.

You ARE aware that strange matter has the same polarity as an electron, right? If you know
anything about electromagnetism, you'd know same polarities oppose each other. A stranglet would
  NEVER touch an atom.

Additionally even a stable micro black hole would probably miss every particle and never accrete
  anything at all.

Note that both situations are hideously unlikely anyway. In fact, it's believed that the LHD has
a better chance of disrupting a universal constant and destroying reality as we know it than
  creating a stable singularity.

keep in mind, the LHC is colliding 2 streams of equal velocity, anything that is created with
have a net momentum of zero, it will just sit there until it dissapates, so there is a
1^1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 chance that anything could stay stable long
  enough to destroy the earth
