  Gay.

  Chess is cool.

Disappointingly, this had nothing to do with chess.

Assuming you're posting this (==>WV: Rise Up) because of the guy earlier posting ==>WV: Ascend,
have another major plot point involving the chessmen, this one just preceding the one you posted
  here.

From the wikipedia article on ms paint adventures:

"Homestuck was on the reading list of Nick Mathewson, creator of Tor, and one of Foreign Policy
magazine's top 100 global thinkers of 2012.[3] Homestuck was also cited as evidence that the
"recent rejuvenation of adventure games has legs."[4]"

Is that shit for real? I don't get it. Why?

Okay, I'm a MSPA fan and even I don't know what they were smoking with this. None of the MSPA are
anything like vidja adventure games, they parody them, but they are only as close to them as any
other forum game or quest thread. Hell Homestuck hasn't even been directly player controlled
since it grew too big for that to be manageable.
  Any more specific questions?

omestuck has been compared to Ulysses because of the complex and densely worded storytelling the
  series often utilizes.[5][6]

  Gebonopo nopotloot.

Haven't read Ulysses, can't compare them, although Homestuck is pretty wordy (for a webcomic) and
the plot can drag at times (in favor of shenanigans while still under player control, and
  character development later)
  >Gebonopo nopotloot.
I have in fact gone far as decide what look more like.

I frown upon whoever issues such a comparison. Being complex and dense is not what makes Ulysses
as timeless as it is. Might as well have compared Homestuck to "Industrial Society and Its
Future" if its notable traits are density and complexity. At the least it avoids the appearance
of coattailing off a great novel.

dafuq? it coattails every fucking trope in the history of media. It is so fucking full of itself
that it's become everything it parodies, and more... the ultimate irony for iRoNiC hIpStUrRs.
