I like it. >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)16:48:09 No.2952542 They really are. Not in the "newfags ruining mah 4chan" way, but the power structure here is solidifying (both internally and within the business of the internet as a whole). We can't ever go back to that magical time when it was just one guy with a website doing his best to meet server costs and keep shitposting and memespouting to a minimum, so that funny and witty things could thrive. I wonder where the next big wave of counter culture will be. I wonder if anyone old enough to be an oldfag will be able to appreciate it by then. We only meant to stay a while. >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)16:50:52 No.2952544 I spent way too much of my time a while ago wishing it was the early/mid 2000's when we had Windows XP, watched youtube, and used MySpace, like good normies did. Let's be honest, anyone who posted on 4chan in 03' 04' and even 05' have probably left and forgot about this place. Though 4chan shouldn't have died in 2007 like most people said it should have. I think it's fine for it still to exist, but it will never be as good as it once was thanks to the corporate use of the internet. But don't spend time thinking about old /b/ memes. After Hiroyuki has lost enough money and doesn't want to deal with us, 4chan will be sold to some other idiots and be even worse than it is now, or it will be gone forever. Enjoy this palce while it lasts, Anon, because we might not have it for too much longer. >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)17:01:29 No.2952553 What do you think about infinite chan? >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)17:07:23 No.2952557 >>2952553 ᐊᖑᑕᐅᖃᑎᒥᓂᒡᓘᓐᓃᑦ ᐊᕐᓇᐅᖃᑎᒥᓂᒡᓘᓐᓃᑦ ᐃᒃᖠᒍᓱᒃᑐᖅ >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)17:07:44 No.2952558 >>2952518 The song was used in the DAICON opening video, which is being referenced here. It's going to limp along for a while and die, much like what happened to 7chan and all those others. Although I suppose that it might end up with the backup chan status that 7chan enjoyed for a while. If 4chan goes down for a significant length of time or gets taken down completely or whatever, infinite chan is going to be the place that inherits the legacy. >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)17:14:41 No.2952567 >>2952561 lol, I showed up in 2009 >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)17:15:56 No.2952568 >>2952544 >>2952561 We're still here. I'm not as avid a poster as I once was and the culture has definitely suffered, but /f/ has always been a fun place to hang out when I'm bored. It's like an addiction. I can go months without stopping by, but every now and then I relapse. >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)17:19:37 No.2952569 >>2952568 I wandered into the 4chan panel at Otakon 2005 (I think?) without knowing what the site was and I've been here ever since. >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)17:25:40 No.2952575 >>2952569 jesus there were only like 120 people there >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)17:27:48 No.2952578 >>2952569 Heard about it from a friend back when I was underage B&, which was in the mid 2000s somewhere. Got really deep into raiding and the place has shaped my growth as a person ever since. Remember when /new/ and /pol/ weren't "My Little Republican: Shitposting is Magic"? That's the stuff that got me out of being a hardcore STEM autist and into my current field. >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)17:28:30 No.2952580 >>2952575 complete curiosity.
