They really are. Not in the "newfags ruining mah 4chan" way, but the power structure here is
solidifying (both internally and within the business of the internet as a whole).
We can't ever go back to that magical time when it was just one guy with a website doing his best
to meet server costs and keep shitposting and memespouting to a minimum, so that funny and witty
things could thrive.
I wonder where the next big wave of counter culture will be. I wonder if anyone old enough to be
an oldfag will be able to appreciate it by then.
We only meant to stay a while.

I spent way too much of my time a while ago wishing it was the early/mid 2000's when we had
Windows XP, watched youtube, and used MySpace, like good normies did. Let's be honest, anyone who
posted on 4chan in 03' 04' and even 05' have probably left and forgot about this place. Though
4chan shouldn't have died in 2007 like most people said it should have. I think it's fine for it
still to exist, but it will never be as good as it once was thanks to the corporate use of the
internet. But don't spend time thinking about old /b/ memes. After Hiroyuki has lost enough money
and doesn't want to deal with us, 4chan will be sold to some other idiots and be even worse than
it is now, or it will be gone forever.
Enjoy this palce while it lasts, Anon, because we might not have it for too much longer.

A decent attempt, but poor follow through and too much focus on a cause instead of the culture
set it up for failure. It's going to limp along for a while and die, much like what happened to
7chan and all those others.
Although I suppose that it might end up with the backup chan status that 7chan enjoyed for a
while. If 4chan goes down for a significant length of time or gets taken down completely or
whatever, infinite chan is going to be the place that inherits the legacy.

Got really deep into raiding and the place has shaped my growth as a person ever since.
