[_] 4chan Cup /f/ Team discussion Old Man Sou !!c6N8js+QjEQ 10/04/15(Sun)22:40:10 No.2919720
So continuing on from last time which was about the beginning of September. And alas life has
it's ways of dragging me away from these kinds of autistic things.
Anyways what we were talking about last time was letting /d/ take Teaching the world to Fap as
their anthem
Now where this leaves us with an anthem vs /d/ will just be that it becomes a joint anthem and
we'll use something for /h/. I'm currently working on a sample I'll have uploaded later on in the
month with the cup coming up I should have more free time to dedicate to this stupid shit. I'm
also working on visual samples for anthems and goalhorns so we get a better feel for what we want
with certain pieces of music. I'd just like to get this little snag worked out before the Autumn
Babby starts up.
What the hell is this all about? Check the wiki for more info on our Virtual Memeball team.

4chan Cup is and always has been spam on any board other than /v/ or /sp/

Faggot.

It usually is, but it's persisted long enough and produced enough good moments that it's an
indisputable part of 4chan culture. A few quick threads a season doesn't hurt anybody, and to the
credit of everyone involved in 4chan Cup I've never seen it go beyond that.

>indisputable part of 4chan culture
It's really not. The percentage of users who actively care about it is staggeringly small.
I don't mind it, but calling it part of the culture is a huge stretch.

Yeah, I agree with this Anon.
I've been on various boards for three years and this is the first 4Chan Cup thread that I have
ever seen, lurked, or posted in.
Funny that it's from /f/.

This is because the Hot Pockets usually clamp down on cup threads outside /sp/ and /vg/. Contrary
to what >>2919726 said Cup threads are usually swiftly deleted on /v/. We've always kind of been
on thin ice with the people up top so the managers keep to one thread per board until that thread
404s usually.
>>2919772
Yeah we're actually pretty cold to a majority of the site but that hasn't stopped us from being
autistic about Virtual Memeball.
>>2919786
It's actually been going on for a little longer than that, the first cup tournament was in 2011
but since then it's grown from 16 teams to 60. It doesn't surprise me that people don't know what
the cup is. I'm just happy to manage /f/'s team really.

Ayy Sou, nice to see you. Are we going to have any roster changes?

With how the last roster poll went I expect things to stay mostly the same, however people seem
to wanna drop Mormon Jesus as the Silver CB which I can understand I don't think the medal
defender is as effective as it was in previous versions of PES so when Winter comes around we
might see Daily Dose get the Silver Medal for the competition roster. Otherwise we still need to
see who we get paired up against in Winter to swap out some 77s here and there.
