Did they actually end the anime?
I remember the story wasn't finished during the original airing.

Think they did an anime original ending but the manga is reaching its conclusion, unless it ended
since last I checked.

Man, I hate that. The ending of the anime was so inconclusive and it's not as satisfying to read
a manga after I've seen the anime, even if the story is better.

I dont remember too much as I read/watched it a while ago but I believe the stories split fairly
early on, so if you enjoyed the chars then it might be worth a read.

I guess it wasn't so much the characters as it was the story idea and execution of it.
Either way, reading mangas or books in general has always been a dry, un-immersive experience for
me (probably my lack of imagination).
