He isn't a boss, he's the hero trying to stop you; the true boss.

Which version of Megalovania is this?

The version from Undertale, Sans' fight.

Hm. I still think I prefer the homestuck version. https://homestuck.bandcamp.com/track/megalovania

I like undertale's version more because it feels faster/action paced.

It just feels awkwardly sped up and pitched up. Even the original is better https://www.youtube.c

Are you fucking kidding me? The Undertale version has chiptunes, guitar riffs, and string synths.
All the Earthbound version has is a chiptune made with basic Earthbound sound effects.
Besides the Undertale track is crisper and cleaner since it isn't limited to the nes' shitty
sound quality.

Wait, how can the almost exact same song be in both games? Isn't this copyright infringement?

Simply: Someone took Earthbound and made an unofficial edited version. The song isn't actually in
the real Earthbound game.

Sans is a silly, chill character who's only putting forth the effort of stopping you, because he
knows what happens if he doesn't. He's not the badass edgemaster this flash presents him as.
Also, those floating skulls are called "Gaster Blasters", and they look fucking nothing like the
way they're presented here. There's artistic liberty, then there's raping the source material
with your edgy "headcanon", literally.

it's a fun little game, but people are overhyping it way too much.
i think it's because of the difference between what people expected and what they got. many were
probably expecting just another mediocre indie game, and got one that was pretty polished and
clever, which makes it seem better by comparison. add in a bit of earthbound nostalgia and meta
humor and people loved it.

nah, Toby couldn't afford legitimate viral marketing if he wanted to.
At worst it's fanshittery and the like.
