The driving focus behind why people would set aside capitalism differs between each.

Another way of looking at it is greed (capitalism) vs pride (national socialism) vs fear
(communism) vs goodwill (socialism).

National Socialism is about two things: Nationalism, and Socialism.
Nationalism means the belief that Germany should only be for German-born people, America should
only be for American-born people, etc. Nationalism is about restrictive immigration policies,
demanding that people only use the language of the majority population, and being antagonistic
towards outsiders; foreigners and other countries. And of course getting rid of, through
deportation or sometimes other means, those undesirable people who don't fit into the National
identity.
Socialism is the belief in an economic system where the government provides benefits to it's
people. Universal health care, public schooling, welfare programs, and so on. Of course, with
National Socialism, those government benefits would only go to the people who are part of the
national identity. We don't want tax money going to help those who don't deserve it.
Bernie Sanders is a Democratic Socialist. That is the belief that "big government" benefits
should be given to all the people, in a free and democratic society without all the nationalistic
baggage. Now if there was a candidate out there who was advocating socialistic economic programs
like universal health care, but also talking about the need to deal with the problems of
outsiders and immigrants, he could be considered a national socialist.
