the fights are just conversations I mean at least it was ok in shin megami tensei because at

(sniff) I just wanted a bit more action, is that too much to ask for ? maybe an improvement and
expanding on Mother 3's music-based battle system would be nice ? or maybe a 4 or more party of
humans ? or a Shin Megami Tensei style of fusing monsters or FF7's materia skill/magic system? or
both? heck why not all of that and more in one?

Well I wouldn't... if the creator didn't already state that this game is basically a combination
of earthbound and SMT with top down shooter elements added to the mix.
In short it already is similar to other games we all like I simply think it would be better with
the more action-oriented aspects of said games rather than the passive aspects such as the
ability to talk to monsters.

Kind of agree. I didn't think the game was so bad, though it would be pretty boss if Toby Fox
contributed music to a better game made by an actual team with everyone in specialized roles.
