Related in the sense that the creator of Undertale has worked with the creator of Homestuck for
musical reasons. The sense of humor of the two is also similar, but that's where the connections
end.
Beyond that, most people shit on undertale because they haven't actually played it at all. Not
saying the game is perfect or without flaws, but everything you're witnessing is a kneejerk
reaction to its spontaneous popularity. Beyond that, it's kind of a bullet hell RPG that focuses
on character interactions. You can either negotiate your way out of battles or you can fight your
way out of them, but either way you're going to need to dodge the whole time while you're doing
it. For a game as simple as it is, the gameplay is fantastic.
It's kind of sad, actually. I legitimately feel sorry for anyone that didn't play it during the
first week it came out.

and to play it genocide; still found it boring.

you'll get 2 extra lovely boss fights out of it

Undertale has been one of the best released in years. Coupled with TH15, and this year has been a
great one for shmup fans.

they didn't appeal to you. The game was great. Had it's flaws, had a relatively high difficulty
towards the end of the game, was unique, used meta humor, and did character building just right.
Then faggots come along and shit on it because it's getting such high praise. They find that they

Where was I shitting on the game? I wasn't a huge fan of it because I didn't find it fun.
I expressed my frustrations that anons "react negatively to the fact that others like what they
don't like" when I stated that I wasn't a huge fan of the game.
