There's a delay when you pick them up, and dynamite for sure has a delay when activated.
Moving diagonally is faster too, this designer didn't learn his basic geometry, abuse that.

I did that too, it doesn't seem to matter.
You can also carry a powerup into the boss area, it helps to get in and basically instantly
dynamite a watermelon.

If you Right-click and press forward you go straight to Giga Nigga
Also if you are holding something (Ex:dynamite)
