I can't fucking take it anymore. All this retardation and blatant shitposting everywhere and no

way to behave.
But even worse than the actual quality of posts and the death of imageboard culture is the
fucking tourism feeling of it all. It's like over half the userbase don't actually use this place
regularly or could seriously be considered "members of the community" anymore. It's all just a
bunch of 16 year old fuckfaces who come in, browse and shitpost for 20 minutes, grab a few
screencaps for /r/4chan and then fuck off again. This place is just another social media outlet
for these kids, and nothing more. It's a feeling that's been on /b/ for years now, but since late
2014 it's been spreading all over the website. Just christ moot should've just shut this place
down.

Been here for a few years.
I regularly used to just lurk due to always working so I'd jump on /f/ to watch some flashes but
never got involved in the replies.
Only recently in the past year have I actually got involved in the replies and posting of content.
Some of them admittedly YT rips, but I never post popular or trending dribble unless it's
tributes to people who have died - case and point David Bowie and Alan Rickman tributes that I
posted for example.
Apart from the good I also indulge in the bad, yes I shitpost but that is part of the fun. I also
post bait flashes for a guaranteed shitposting thread.
I don't see how any of that is bad, conflict is in our nature, better to embrace it then to live
life under a rock worrying about words being said/typed.
At the end of the day, who gives a shit.
Whether you're a shitposter, a baiter, a lurker or contributor you're all welcome here in /f/ and
I hope it stays that way because it's what makes us stand out from all the other shitty social
media websites.
