Cats can survive very big falls, pretty cool. I don't think it simply runs off to die either.

The terminal velocity of cats is not high enough to kill a cat, making them 'immortal' to dying
from falls. As long as they have a healthy weight, of course!

i heard somewhere that if cats fall with a full bladder its high risk they rupture it in the
landing on hard surfaces. cats reflexively pee it out in high fall but there is point were fall is
high enough but cat do not have enough time to pee it out and it is somewhere around floor 2/3.
