The show starts off slow as shit, with crap animation for the first 15 or so episodes, but has a
fucking FANTASTIC payoff if you stick it out.
It was around the middle of season 1 that it grabbed me, around ocean gem, when they started
bringing all the loose plot threads together.
The fandom is god damn ATROCIOUS though, the lapis/jasper/fusion/peri-fanatics bring down a
legitimately good series with their MLP levels of autism
