Been looking for a game quite similar to this.
You have a movable base that generates bacteria like myst that grows in strengh the more it is
and you attack neighboring bases.
At least that's what I remember it like, it's as old as this game.
Anyone got a lead?

I hope you know that you can cut your own tentacles? Just capture 2 free nodes first by sending
tentacles and then cutting them near the base. This will send all tentacles to the node and
capture it. After that focus on a huge node in the center.
Also protip: always connect all friendly nodes with each oher if possible, it boosts connected
node's power generation

Right, for 19 you go to the little empty embryo things, immediately cut the chain at its base to
capture it, then join the new one to the other small embryo. Then once you have all 3 capture the
big one ASAP. From there its up to you.

For zone 19 it is very important to have your territories linked to each other rather than
attacking. Focus on acquiring a single spot at a time, while defending your existing territories.
By doing this, along with the cutting attack, you can slowly build up enough to overwhelm the
enemy 50s. Took me a few tries, but it worked out eventually.
