Ripping AMV's from YouTube is definitely not the way to generate content for /f/.
>>3055596 Here you are. Rips can be done without looking like utter garbage while still having
zero experience with encoding shit.

Fair enough but how did you do it? You can't criticize and berate me and then not tell me how to
do it right.

But how will they be leader of the cave if they give away all their secrets? Betterment of the
peers can wait 'til we get someone on the moon.
>Haw! Like that'll ever happen.

Op here, and you know what? I can. I totally can. But I'll throw you a bone in exchange for you
not ripping Youtube AMVs and posting them here all the damn time.
1). Think about what you're trying to accomplish.
No, I'm serious. You want to get a video on a board that supports a maximum file size of 10mb.
Stop ripping .mp4's at 50+ mb each.
2) Consider your formats.
You need to convert these things into SWF to display here. So, I'll make it easy for you: Grab
the highest quality file off Youtube in Webm format that's closest to 10mb. Game Changer had one
at 12mb.
3)Get the proper tools for the job.

D/L it. Read the instructions. Copy flv.bat, edit the copy, and change "input.mp4" to
"input.webm". Save the .bat file as "flv - Webm input.bat". Copy and Rename your source file to
"input.webm", then run your "flv - Webm input.bat". Whash and repeat until the file is at or
under 10mb. Run "! Run SwfH264.bat". Insert info. Go. Save. Done.

Transcoding down from a webm with a vp8 video codec is far more likely to suffer significant loss
of quality than a conversion from an existing h264 source.
The real answer is that if you're not capable of posting at least 8/10 quality video rips then
you may as well not even bother. This implies learning how to properly encode video and using
high quality sources to begin with.
Giving generic advice for swfh264 just encourages people to be lazy and post garbage.

Where can I learn?

FFmpeg has wiki pages (Google for it) on h264 encoding, and using the AAC encoders for audio. You
should also learn about the concepts behind two pass encoding and how to actually use it.
You'll also want to learn how to target best quality per file size and the rest you'll kind of
just pick up as you learn.
Most youtube rips don't belong on /f/, though. You might be better off going to >>>/wsg/ and
using webm for retards to post that kind of stuff.

This seems above my head but I'll try my best.
