1/0 isn't anything because the function 1/x isn't defined at zero, but the right limit when that
function approaches zero is infinity and the left limit is negative infinity.
In vague terms and for some practical uses you could say 1/0 is infinity, it is technically
incorrect by several reasons but some applications use it as a placeholder when the result is
computed and displayed in real time, like in most calculator applications.
