Actual ponyfag here. There is a character named Discord, played by John DeLance, that fucked shit
up. Then, like 2 seasons later there is an idea to reform him and make him a good guy. After
listening to the whole song, and knowing the shit that happened pertaining Discord, it seems as
if this song is about him sort of going, "what, what the fuck am I doing" and going back to
fucking shit up.

The show itself is just moralizing to single-digit-aged children using tiny candy horses, so the
main cast are all pretty much one-note. Discord is comparatively more complex (by having a whole
two dimensions to his character), so ponyfags cling to him to give the simplistic cartoon for
tiny babies that they've decided to base thier identities around some semblance of depth.
It's more obvious when you consider all of the various characters and backstories they've made up
out of whole cloth for the background ponies that are literally just dropped into the scene to
fill space.
