  GT isn't better, but the fact that it's worth bringing up to debate speaks volumes about the
  quality drop, somewhat in writing, significantly in animation.

  The good part is that ever since Super came out, GT is not only canon, it's also no longer the
  worst DB anime. Also, SSJ4 Gogeta and Super 17 more than make up for the first season of GT, I
  feel.

  I didn't hate GT but then again I've never gotten much joy from anything since frieza died the
  first time. honestly my favorite is still DB.

  No I mean DBS literally picks up where DBZ left off, ignoring GT entirely. The story arcs are
  based off the movies which have always had a weird continuity, namely it starts off with Battle
  of the Gods, then goes into Resurrection F and stretches them out and fluffs them up a bit. First
  episodes literally have un-remastered clips of Buu-saga stuff for flashbacks and talk about it as
  if it occurred maybe a month prior to when the series takes place.
