[_] Wake up. Anon 2687697 Marked for deletion (old).
>> [_] Anon 2687700 We're all awake, it's not like people don't know. It's just that we can't get organised and take this down globally, because we're too comfy in our chairs.
>> [_] Anon 2687706 It's some sort of thing to make you feel like a special snowflake for being "different". People need to be productive overall for society, it's not a difficult concept.
>> [_] Anon 2687707 can we like, stop working guyse
>> [_] Anon 2687710 >># I'm quitting my job right now. FUCK EL COPRATIONS. I AM A FREEMAN.
>> [_] Anon 2687711 To be fair, if you really think we aren't free you're retarded and over-thinking everything. I used to think the exact same and think there was some sort of hidden power, something we don't know anything about. But if you really want to go somewhere in the world, you get the money to and you go there. It's not like it was possible before to do this so easily, everything is a lot easier now. I like to compare this time to say medieval times and how things may have been better back then. But we have planes now, we can go where we want when we want. We are literally free to do whatever. Think about it like this. Every government there is owns the land their people live in. You don't have to stay there. If you're so sick of living a "pattern" then do something different. Quit over-thinking the world. If you believe that it's as basic as it appears, you can be happy.
>> [_] Anon 2687712 >># >people need to be productive fuck you, you twat, this shit's gotta burn
>> [_] Anon 2687715 >># by something different you mean get a different job? I don't think you can survive that long without one
>> [_] Anon 2687716 >># If you think X, then you are retarded. I used to think X too. Im confused. I dont think I should take advice from retarded people, but then again, if i don't believe what you say, you are not retarded.
>> [_] Anon 2687721 what the fuck are you implying? that we should build communism, just because there are people richer than you? Oh yeah, that'll show them. Because communism always work. Because if we're all poor, life is all fair and better. Is that what you want? you fucking piece of shit
>> [_] Anon 2687722 >># Have fun gathering and dying from malaria, fucking neanderthal.
>> [_] Anon 2687725 >># >implying that's not what people and society deserve Youre the enemy
>> [_] Anon 2687726 I mean. We could just start a commune of 4chan tards?
>> [_] Anon 2687728 >># fund it
>> [_] Anon 2687730 >># "Used to" is the key phrase. Never heard of learning from your naivety?
>> [_] Anon 2687735 >># Then go and live alone in the forest, you fucktard, if you hate society so much. Go get mauled by a bear.
>> [_] Anon 2687736 >># Not exactly, no. I mean do something spontaneous. Go somewhere. Climb a mountain or something.
>> [_] Anon 2687739 I've survived for more than four years without a job. I'm thirty-five with a BSEE from the University of Washington. a few years ago I got an inheritance from my drunk grandpa who was completely loaded. I should've expected some money but I was completely surprised. I still have about a third of the money I got from grandpa. I only planned to take six months off from work at the most. It's not a horrible existence, it's not awesome. I was able to take a trip to Europe with my uncle last year, but I ended up spending two days in my room in Dublin when I felt overwhelmed, but most of the trip was awesome. I'll have to start working again soon. I'm mostly worried that I won't be able to wake up and go to work because I sleep at crazy hours, so I'll get fired quickly.
>> [_] Anon 2687752 >># omg the corporations >why do you stare at computer screen all the time >you could do anything you want really not the best place to post this
>> [_] Anon 2687757 >># >implying I cant mooch off the system and live comfortably in my apartment youd wish
>> [_] Anon 2687758 >># This is how you see the world when you are a child at the beginnig of grasping the world. Then ten years later you need to work hard to regain that independence and free thinking.
>> [_] Anon 2687760 >># >he is stupid enough to listen to their lies about overpopulation Every single 7 odd billion people on this planet can have the life of a mid-tier person, middle-class whatever you want to call it. Insect farming, vertical farming, mass-landscape destruction of useless hills and mountains to be used for resources for said things, keep mountains that fuel rivers of course. You can make artificial mountains with a fucking building a mile high with trees in it. No more shitty junk food. No more trying to fight just to get fucking food. No more working your ass off to only spend 70% of your wage on food. Instantly that has solved the problems of billions of people. These aren't complex things. Nobody will do it because nobody fucking wants to. There isn't some giant conspiracy. People are god damn lazy.
>> [_] Anon 2687761 >># >build a mile
>> [_] Anon 2687764 >># >IMPLYING EVRYRTHING IS BAD >implying we aren't constantly improving AYY LMAOOOOO
>> [_] Anon 2687766 >why aren't you doing what you want to do? because money
>> [_] Anon 2687767 How to fight corporations: >Buy local and or independently produced goods >Buy your goods from local and or independent vendors >Don't buy shit you don't need >DIY >Get off the internet >Vote national
>> [_] Anon 2687768 >># Oh fuck off, you know what I mean, I was being metaphorical. Skyscrapers with plants all over the surface of them can more than make up for the loss of a mountain. Mountains are SHIT. Especially the higher you go up. You can get moisture out of the air at GROUND LEVEL trivially even in deserts. They are far more useful to be used for farming, manufacturing, building and so on. Not to mention if you design cities properly (barely any are!), you can cover areas in between with wind turbines and generate a fuckton of power off the wind that eventually hits them. Having lines of these things facing east and west, done. Of course, it won't matter soon anyway, only 2 things will happen soon: world war 3 resource rich society through space mining. Every other scenario is just less worse than world war 3, but may as well be it.
>> [_] (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ 2687771 How about ya'll donate me money so I can go live in peace in the woods with a lot of money.
>> [_] Anon 2687775 Just watched the full video in the part2 thread. How expected. The same fucking tired video every year that gets made >waaah muh freedoms >waah muh merica ruining the world >1 billion people are starving, oh no >all dees problems And not a single fucking solution. Whiners whining: version 17: the returnening part 5.
>> [_] Anon 2687776 Step 1 to creating a world that doesn't require as much overspecialization: Stop reproducing over the rate of replacement. This planet can't sustain 7 billion hunter-gatherers. as if that'll ever happen.
>> [_] Anon 2687786 >># >tfw op might have a top end pc or a ps4 all bought with parents money >mfw I have no face dude pls, go to africa. You'll be free there lel
>> [_] Anon 2687801 >># >People need to be productive overall for society We are very quickly approaching a post-scarcity economy, and this mindset is slowly becoming less and less relevant.
>> [_] Anon 2687803 >># And 50 years from now we'll have what, 9 billion? 10? 11?
>> [_] Anon 2687804 >># The foundations of an actual space mining based society, which will scale far beyond our population needs every 20 years several times over. It has already begun now. There are now a few private companies and 3 countries getting behind the effort to make the first buck off space mining.
>> [_] Anon 2687805 >># >These aren't complex things. Okay, let me know when you have those things done, thanks.
>> [_] Anon 2687810 >># Continue reading, fucknut.
>> [_] Anon 2687813 >># This is what hippies believe. This is what a 13 year old who sucks at school believes. This is what a college student who was never offered any other opportunities because he didn't do anything else other than play video games believes. This is what a person who think people are born as CEOs, representatives, and leaders believes. Shit does not just come to you. You have to work for it. I stopped after about 2 minutes. Please tell me he suggests an actual solution to this "problem" instead of just saying "wake up".
>> [_] Anon 2687814 >># I already did, and I didn't bother including it earlier because you are simply projecting your own laziness on others. >"This whole thing is totally simple! Just believe me, even though I have no special knowledge in any relevant field! The only reason nobody has done it is because everyone is lazy!" So, in other words, you are too lazy to do anything, but decide instead that it is a better use of your time complaining on an anonymous anime image board. I'd love to know how you reached that conclusion, but let's be honest, you just pulled that out of your ass.
>> [_] Anon 2687816 >># >you have to work for it nice try Jew every one knows working hard gets you jackshit in life [slaves lol] its about connections and working smart OR being a Trustfund babby
>> [_] Anon 2687824 >># >my own laziness Talking to person that grows their own food. The majority of people are lazy pricks If you were to take away cleaning jobs, janitorial and so on, the world would fall apart. It is still trivial to DO said things. These systems aren't complex to build, that is what I meant, you in-grown toenail. Aquaponics, trivial, works well, rarely fails, trivial to restart. Insect farming, easy, works, being done. Vertical farming, build a skyscraper, for farms. This video is literally America Problems, not fucking World Problems. They talk about muh murrica problems and 1 billion people starving, and forget the 4 odd billion that live PERFECTLY FINE LIVES. (others are average) The world is fine and I am tired of these same fucking cunts that make the same video every year. MUH ENLIGHTENMENT. Do something, prick. HE IS EVEN ONE OF THOSE "wish I wasn't born in this generation" FAGGOTS. FUCK.
>> [_] Anon 2687830 >># That is just bullshit. There is no "elite" who controlls the people with money. Who are those people who opress us? Have you ever met one? Don't start with muh ilumminati. No, it's not specific people, it's society as a whole.
>> [_] Anon 2687831 This is what liberals truly believe.
>> [_] Anon 2687833 >># I did a little of my own research, and it seems that you are right, that the main reason these things haven't been done is because there's no profit incentive to go out and do those things. China seems to be investing in Africa for the future, but that seems like a much more long-term goal than what we have now. I still take issue to you calling them "trivial" though, because there are numerous distribution and environmental concerns that need to be addressed before these things are done.
>> [_] Anon 2687835 >># > space mining Oh lawdy. We've had space rockets for 70 years now. 70 years later, we're still using the same giant, unreliable, flying bombs to launch a few pounds of payload into orbit. Pray tell, how in the fuck are we going to move any economic quantity of minerals from wherever it happens to be (mostly outside the orbit of Mars) to where we are able to exploit it, using the technology we have or are likely to have in the next 100 years?
>> [_] Anon 2687837 I have a solution >make reanimation possible >reanimate Tesla >make free energy out of thin air and you're done it's elementary
>> [_] Anon 2687838 >># Distribution isn't that hard. There are companies that sell aquaponics farms in a hut for your back garden, fully automated. Not sure of the prices again. Still not profitable, or efficient. If farms were replaced with these systems, however, they'd be insanely more efficient. Even more so if you do the progressive levelling of hills and mountains concept and replace them with vertical skyscraper farms. Over time it will become less profitable, but the food you could get from them. >># It's called there are billionaires behind this idea with the best minds in the industries involved. I'm not a fucking rocket surgeon. Besides, there is also the other option, WW3.
>> [_] Anon 2687840 >># No shit, just working HARD means nothing. You have to work smart. If I move rocks from one place to another, I'm not worth shit. Just because the work is hard doesn't mean its valuable.
>> [_] Anon 2687852 >># Nigger, what? You can't be serious.
>> [_] Anon 2687855 >># The planet's population will even out at around 10 billion, and has the ability to sustain about twice that. We just have to use our resources wisely.
>> [_] Anon 2687881 Is this the opening cutscene for the new Metal Gear game?
>> [_] Anon 2687883 This talks about the 'elite' taking advantage of everyone else. But are they happier or better off than us? Life is just as shit for them as for the little people. Everything is shit for everyone. Conclusion: kill yourself for true happiness.
>> [_] Anon 2687894 >THEY TOOK AWAY OUR FREEDOMS Nigga, I got Air Conditioning and Playstation, I'm comfy as fuck.
