It had a pretty damn decent sound chip. It pisses me off that people think "oh lets just take the original audio, scale it down so much that it sounds like scratchy shit and call it a retro remix XD". No this is fucking awful. The only knocks I would give it is a) frame rate seems high, both cpu speed and display refresh would mean you should never bother with 30fps video, and b) can't help but think an 8bit rendition was used because a proper digitizing of the original audio wasn't going to be done. As someone who has listened to alot of gameboy audio tracks, I am still in the dark about its digitized sound capabilities and qualities. Anyways.. yea.. so much text for a /f/lash

Before that I made the crunched chiptune arrangement in reason/audacity and custom screen sized gameboy in photoshop. The last step was throwing it all together in flash and adding touch ups like a light source, shadows around the inner rim of the screen, the blinking power indicator, etc. So no, it's not hand drawn, if that's what you're asking.
