I really like 7/4 and 5/4, but lets just say it's 4/4, so, 4 x (60/120) >divide this by the number of frames in the swf, say 20, so, (4 x (60/120)) / 20 >and put it all underneath 1, so [1 / ((4 x (60/120)) / 20)] tl;dr [1 / ((meter x (60/tempo)) / frames)] >set this as frames per second, and the music and gif action will align. I think it's neat. Other times (like for this flash), a gif I like already exists on google. All I do is resize, align the actions to music (you can also get it to align by beginning on a different frame on the timeline other than the first). I've seen a couple of your tutorial videos, but how else do you all go about making flashes?
