[_] The hardest game of Connect 4 Anonymous 04/15/16(Fri)19:13:30 No.3062720

Its possible to beat it. After many tries! Or until you just happen to get lucky. Some bugs in
the game: No looping music, after you get a draw or a win, play button will not work.
Other than that, real fun game.
(Tip, Don't let the computer have you act out of defense!)

i managed to tie, thats about it

>> [_] Anonymous 04/15/16(Fri)20:00:44 No.3062761

  i won once.
I swear to god this game is like magic
like a wizard cast a spell on it to make me feel retarded

>> [_] Anonymous 04/15/16(Fri)20:01:11 No.3062762

  that was pretty easy...
although the play button didn't work after you beat it

  i beat it first shot
cmon /f/ you cant all be that autistic

  Beat it.

>> [_] Anonymous 04/15/16(Fri)20:18:01 No.3062772

Computer gets to go first, which in connect 4 is a HUGE advantage. It's a calculated game to make
  you ose.

>> [_] Anonymous 04/15/16(Fri)20:22:20 No.3062778

I beat it first try? It's not that hard. You just have to force the AI to have no moves except
for that which will make you win.

you have to play a perfect game. if you dont know how then its not that easy

Depends on what you perceive as hard, all I did to win (What I call winning in my books) is just
counter everything the computer chose, thus tying, I consider that a win as I've denied it from
  winning itself.

But in terms of actually winning for myself it would probably take a while to do.

perhaps you are the one that is autistic for beating it so easily

>> [_] Anonymous 04/15/16(Fri)21:27:56 No.3062812

I lost a million times then won. I think a good plan of attack is to make three-in-a-rows where
the fourth winning piece would be one spot away from the ground.

  Like this:

  OOX
  OXOO
  XOOX

If the computer (O) places a piece on the fourth column, you win.

  >keep doing the same shit that the cpu does, mirrored
  >keep stacking on top of existing stacks until only the lst two are left
  >start in the not useful one until it gets full, computer has to play on last one
  >there should be a 4 in a row on the second drop of yours

  wow so hard

  >keep doing the same shit the cpu does, mirrored
  >mirrored
  >odd number of columns

Truly a brilliant explanation of expert-level play.

  Second try victory.

The key is to know it'll do anything it can to screw you over, set traps.

>> [_] Anonymous 04/15/16(Fri)23:44:23 No.3062911

Guys I am stoned as balls and i got this on try 2.

I guess when I was a kid I had one of those shitty not-Go stone-on-grid games, Pente. so it all
  is pretty obvious

  >>3062763
Same. The program isn't actually very good: if there are two plays I can make that don't lead to
immediate loss, it throws up its hands instead of predicting a little.

If the Computer places in the middle row on turn 1, you're already dead. Otherwise, stack as many
in the center as you can from your open as long as doing so won't allow the computer to win. From
there it's just about making filler moves and forcing the computer into a situation where it has
to surrender a winning move and if you've done your job right it'll force it to give you the win.

>> [_] Anonymous 04/16/16(Sat)00:11:04 No.3062927

beat it first try. I may have gotten lucky because I never really played c4 , but then again I
  play a lot of chess.
