I don't know why anon's have a cow every time someone posts something thats in the archive... I
think it adds to the history and mystique of 4chan and with the summerfags starting this week
thats a good thing

I feel like /f/ is one of the only boards who's board culture hasn't undergone any major shifts
It's still pretty much the same as when I came here 7 years ago, some of the weekly flashes still
get posted, like fridayatlast.swf, we still have Miku Mondays, 2hu Tuesdays, etc, every once in a
while you see a partyhard...feels like this place has been preserved

Yeah, shame that the same can't be said for most other boards though. I'm probably
nostolgiafagging a little too hard over a chinese cartoon discussion forum though.

Well that should certainly make it a little more secret, some newfags will go away if they can't
view the content.
Shame that I'll have to use internet explorer now though, Chrome has even stopped flashes from
playing locally from a file, what a shitty browser.

Y no Firefox? It's open source and we all know that open source is basically the organic food of
the internet.
Using it simply makes you a better person.

I havn't been on /f/ in a while since my last laptop got waterdamage. There was this swf I had.
It was one of those big pixel games about a girl in the caverns you walk around and there's
abilities that let her climb on walls, fly etc and each ability lets you get past obstacles you
couldn't previously pass. I think the objective was to like collect keys. the background is this
blueish purple i think. I remember the name was like "the cavern's law" or something. something's
law, i think.
Anyone know the flash im talking about? Please, I love that game so much.

I'm used to chrome, I have some useful extensions installed that I don't think I could port/don't
want to deal with in firefox. I'll probably just browse /f/ with IE just like I do to view sjis
art correctly.

But it only affects people in chrome, doubtless all the open source people distributing firefox
keep flash.

Just because stuff like lolicatgirls is still posted and people keep collections of swfs does not
mean that there are no content creators here.
Here's some examples:
The Robot Jox guy, created those mecha flashes recently and an edit of hat.swf
FEZ clock, current one is v0.3 IIRC
Show Me What You Got: admittedly he didn't update past the wip version
Can't Stump: whatever your opinion on Trump is there was someone who made a flash
Doctor Pixel: that was actually original and so amazing the first time it was posted that the
thread was stickied.
People are always creating content. I think it is a shame to lose any history that can be gained
from old content, so many things can be learned about flash from older content.
