economic decisionmaking could instead improve pound value in the long-term, or normalize it
somewhat
despite brexit "concerns", the Euro-GBP rate is still following the Bullish Bat pattern, and
generally within expectations to continue to tend upwards
other major and comparable single day drops have occurred just fucking recently, on 5/18/2016 and
5/24/2016, both of which recovered over time.

It is kind of ridiculous to pretend that there will truly be immediate consequences when nothing
will change for a good while. They will take at least a year, maybe two just to negotiate the
exit terms, and that is to say nothing about other trade agreement deals and renegotiations which
are historically laborious and plodding things. Give it a few months and then we'll start seeing
what the markets are feeling.

Why is it so hard for you to believe that Britain can't manage it's own affairs as it has done

Eu parliament is also elected. Federal officials are at least the heads of their respectative
governments and not 3rd parties.
EU might be a slow "everyone fine with it?" process, but that's due to, as you said, the
different ethnical backgrounds and ongoing hate between nations that were once at war with each
other.
Hence there would not be any more practical ways to do a union.
