It's literally the glans itself that has to be disguised which is why and some manga can get away
with just a narrow black bar over the connection between the glans and shaft.
Of course, since there's also a couple of shots of him uncensored at the begining, it's possible
that some of the footage was from an uncensored master that was released comercaially outside of
japan (usually in other parts of Asia).
